Kyoto - City of ten thousand shrines

It is said that Japan is the country with a lot of plagues and great earthquake. But people do not know that this is also a very beautiful and magnificent country with a lot of unique architecture intact and famous temples as well as shrines and palaces. Kyoto is the former imperial capital of Japan situated at the central part of island of the Honshu.
