Con Dao islands

Con Dao islands are a group of 16 islands situated at Ba Ria-Vung Tau province belonging to the Southeast region of Vietnam. Con Dao is famous for the prison island of political prisoners and it seem to be a very  dangerous and frightening place in the past. First of all, Con Dao national park is is a well-known place to travel. Coming here, you  will have chance to discover hundreds  of plants and animals living here. There are 882 higher forest plants including  371 woody species, 30 orchids, 103 liana species, 202 herb; 144 species of animals concluding 28 beasts, 69 bird species and 39 retiles and 1.383 sea creatures including 127 wracks, 11 sea grasses, 157 phytoplankton, 115 zooplanktons, 202 fish species and 8 beast and reptile species. Especially, Con Dao geckos is the rare animal that features in Con Dao and nowhere can find it. Also, there are a lot of corals growing undersea. This shows that Con Dao islands have a  really diversified and plentiful source of plants and animals. Besides it, there are a lot of beautiful beaches as An Hai beach, Lo Voi beach, Dat Doc beach, Ong Dung Beach, Dam Trau beach, all of these beaches are very wonderful and ideal for go around on food or play some water sports.
